The
Margaret Harkness Urchin Street Faire
The Urchin
Street Faire is a special place where the younger Celts can find
entertainment, education, play and fun. On the Urchin Street stage
there will be continuous music, story telling and dance. In the play
area there will be magic castles, enchanted woods, elves and
goblins. In the reading area volunteers from the Dallas Public
Library will awaken young minds to the fun and learning that is to
be found in books.
Performers on
the Urchin Street Stage include:
|
Lady
Amber - Linda King |
Lady
Amber enchants audiences both young and old with songs and stories

her love of music with a rare talent for weaving a tale to bring
far-off lands and distant times to contemporary audiences. |

natural world and distant cultures. Hear this native Texan spark the

the spoken word. |

Spirits have a combined 80 years of experience in theatre,
costuming, set design and performing. As children's' performers they
have an abundance of children's' songs and stories accompanied by
guitar, bodhran and penny whistle. |
The
Emerald School of Irish Dance |
Dancers

leading two workshops to demonstrate to even the youngest Celt how
they can start to learn the unique and fascinating steps of Irish
dance. |

and Canadian folk songs that appeal to music lovers on both sides of
the pond. |
Stephanie

and song the art, history, legends, yarns, music and customs of
Celts of long ago. She shares the road less traveled as a
homeschooling mom and other life experiences. |
Micheal
Price |
Micheal
